New Student Orientation: Southern Connecticut State University
During the summer of 2017, I had the pleasure of working in collaboration with Southern Connecticut State University's Office of New Student Orientation (NSO), as well as their Integrated Marketing and Communications office to direct the university's social media efforts during the duration of their new student orientation season. The featured images are from Instagram, which quickly became NSO's most popular platform, along with Snapchat. These social media efforts were a part of a larger NSO strategic marketing plan I developed during my time at Southern. This marketing plan included visual assets for the orientation season, daily and weekly post samples for all major social media platforms, research-supported social media posting times for optimum viewing, and detailed storyboard guidelines for social media account takeovers by undergraduate students.
